In this week’s episode, we are uncovering limiting beliefs and imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome is essentially feeling as a fraud, and typically appears in people who are high achievers, or goal-driven people. The goal for this episode is for you to have this on while performing some type of self care, so enjoy a cup of coffee, put a facial mask on, or grab some tacos and listen intently!

We loaded this episode with tips and tools on how to combat these common issues in your business that stem from your personal beliefs and feelings. It’s always been a goal of Alli’s providing more than a service on social media, but provide depth and support clients through their mental blocks and teach them how to find their worth/value.
Alli talks a lot about balance and mental health, so here’s a glimpse into how Alli leads her clients. She believes business is the most personal thing in the world, and it’s time we open up the conversations that truly support businesses and the people behind them.
When talking about social media, it’s no surprise that we have all had an array of feelings, and most of them are especially “yucky.” These feelings are likely not ones that the generations before us faced, because we have never had so much access to other people’s lives or businesses before.
Imposter syndrome means you feel like a fraud, or like you’re tricking people into believing you’re something you’re not, and these feelings typically appear in men or women who are highly achieving or are extremely goal oriented. Though I’ve had YEARS of experience in social media, I constantly face imposter syndrome and feel it creep in when I least expect it. I’m always trying to figure out how to overcome it.
So why is Imposter syndrome popping for me? It’s happening when I do not affirm myself enough with regard to my worth and value on social media, or in my business. Some of those feelings stem from the limiting beliefs I’ve placed on myself, or the comparisonitis I experience because of the saturated market I exist in. It’s up to ME to combat those feelings and work towards a healthier relationship with myself and my business. Limiting beliefs are what they sound like: thoughts that LIMIT you from reaching your full potential. Unless you’ve done the work to break through these, you probably have them (and that’s ok). It’s never too late to reverse these thoughts and DO THE WORK!
I am a firm believer that success is not one size fits all, and we may move as slow or fast as we want to achieve our goals! Breaking through limited beliefs and combating imposter syndrome will help you level up your life and your business. The less time you spend being hard on yourself, the more time you’ll have to live your life, confidently.
